Mr. Lingo ("Mr. Lingo", "we", "us") is owned and operated by Daniel R. Parker Jr., an individual sole operator, trading as Mr. Lingo. By using the website at mrlingospeak.com or the Mr. Lingo application (the "Service"), you are entering into an agreement with Daniel R. Parker Jr. You can reach us at any time at parkersdaniel@gmail.com.
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service. If you are using Mr. Lingo on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to form a binding contract in your country.
Mr. Lingo is a hands-free AI voice interpreter. You choose two languages, tap the microphone, and Mr. Lingo records your speech, transcribes it with AI speech-to-text, detects which of the two selected languages was spoken, translates the text with an AI model, and plays the translation back with AI text-to-speech. Supported languages currently include English, Español, 中文, Deutsch and हिंदी.
A Mr. Lingo account is required to use interpretation features, because your plan and usage are tied to your account. You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, keep your credentials confidential, and you are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at parkersdaniel@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
The free plan includes 5 translations per week; the allowance resets on a rolling 7-day basis. Mr. Lingo Premium costs $7.99 per month and includes unlimited translations, subject to the fair-use and misuse rules below.
New subscribers may start Premium with a 3-day free trial. The trial is available once per account. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription at $7.99 per month and renews automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and your Premium access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, applicable taxes, currency, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. Prices are shown at checkout and may be adjusted for taxes in your jurisdiction. See our Refund Policy for our money-back commitment.
You must not use Mr. Lingo to:
You are responsible for the audio and text you submit ("Inputs"), for having the rights and any necessary consents to submit them, and for how you use the transcripts and translations the Service returns ("Outputs"). You keep ownership of your Inputs and, as between you and us, of your Outputs. You grant us a limited licence to process your Inputs and Outputs solely to operate and support the Service.
We may remove, restrict, filter or refuse content and Outputs, and we may suspend accounts, where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken. If you believe content processed through Mr. Lingo infringes your rights, email parkersdaniel@gmail.com with details and we will review it; repeated or serious infringement leads to account termination.
Mr. Lingo uses automated speech recognition and machine translation. Outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading, and are not a substitute for a qualified human interpreter. Do not rely on Mr. Lingo alone for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or other regulated communication without competent human review. You are responsible for verifying anything important.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected. We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including software, interfaces, documentation, the Mr. Lingo name, logo and branding.
We work to keep Mr. Lingo running well but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free operation, and features, models and supported languages may change. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption or loss of goodwill, or for any loss caused by reliance on AI Outputs. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your Inputs, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. When access ends, your Premium features stop and your conversation data may be deleted; contact parkersdaniel@gmail.com if you need an export first.
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States, and the state and federal courts located in Kentucky have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control excuse performance while they last. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger or sale of the business; you may not assign them without our consent.
